Automatated External Defibrillators (AEDs)

❤️A big thank-you to the Pacific Power Foundation!
This spring, EVSD received a $5,000 Safety & Wellness Grant to support our Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Chain of Survival. ❤️

Thanks to this funding, we added four new AED units—now located in all three elementary school gymnasiums and the East Valley High School auxiliary gym—helping us meet the 5-minute accessibility rule that saves lives.

Across the district, we now maintain:
✔️ 2 AEDs at each elementary school
✔️ 3 AEDs at East Valley Central
✔️ 5 AEDs at EVHS
✔️ Outdoor + athletic coverage (press box, softball/tennis areas, athletic trainer unit)
✔️ 1 AED at the District Office

We will continue posting clear signage and increasing AED awareness across our schools and website.
