Each school district in Washington has the responsibility of providing a free and appropriate education for all children with disabilities between the ages of birth-21.  Special Education services are available in all schools in East Valley School District for children meeting the enrollment criteria.  The East Valley School District does not discriminate against students with disabilities.  If you know of any individual who may have a disability and is not receiving Special Education services, please call  (509) 573-7324.  Someone will be glad to talk to you about possible services.

Early detection and intervention are very important.  If you think your child may have a disability, and your child is between birth and thirty-six months (ages 0-3 years), please call Children's Village at (509) 574-3200.  This system will help families locate services for infants and toddlers with disabilities before the child reaches school age.
